Model CS Packer

Model CS packer is a permanent packer often used as the sump packer in gravel pack systems to support the upper string. It has bi-directional slips to help anchor the packer and provide mechanical support for strings and could be drilled easily during work-over. The mandrel acts as the seal bore itself, with less moving parts, the packer is more robust and easier to operate. The CS packer could be set by wireline or hydraulic pressure, model ‘FC’ setting tool could be used as the hydraulic setting tool. In certain applications, the CS packer could also be converted to a bridge plug for complete isolation.
